• Your file is stored using decentralized infrastructure (IPFS via Filebase).
• You receive a private access token or link. Only you have it.
• We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal info.
• We do not track or store your IP address.

⏳ Access & Retention

• You alone receive the secure download link.
• If you lose your link, your file cannot be recovered.
• Files are set to self-destruct after their rental period ends.
• After expiration, your file is permanently deleted.

🔐 Enhance Your Privacy (Optional)

If you're concerned about file content visibility:

• You can encrypt your file before uploading.
• We will store the encrypted file, and only you hold the decryption key.
• All uploaded files are encrypted on our servers and can be decrypted using our secure server-side Decrypt Tool. For your privacy, you must keep your password safe—without it, your file cannot be recovered.

This keeps even us — the system creators — out of your business.

🔐 How Burn Storage Works

Burn Storage is a time-limited, Bitcoin-powered file upload service. You rent encrypted space for a few days—then the file self-destructs. No sign-up. No tracking. No recovery.

• Upload a file (up to your plan’s limit, e.g., 100 MB) via a simple Joomla form.
• Choose your storage plan and prepay using BTC (Lightning), LNbits, or Cash App.
• Your file is pinned on Filebase using IPFS tech, and a unique hash is generated for access.
• Your file is stored for your chosen period (e.g., 1–3 days), then it is automatically and permanently deleted.
• No account needed. No tracking. No recovery after expiration.

🔥 What Happens to My File?

Think of it like renting a car—when your time is up, the keys are returned and your session ends. Your file disappears after the rental period.

• Files are tied to the selected plan duration.
• Deletion is triggered automatically via a scheduled expiration script.
• You receive a unique IPFS hash and expiration notice when uploading.
